The only company run in the Würzburg area – eoRun on 16.09.2021 in Volkach
eology GmbH, an online marketing agency, is organizing the eoRun, Volkach’s first company run, on September 16, 2021. This will be the only company run in the surrounding area that can take place in 2021. The eoRun is primarily designed for teams, but individuals can also participate. A team can consist of a company, school, family, club or organization. The focus of the 7.5 km run is clearly on the sporting and community experience. Patrons are the district administrator Tamara Bischof and Volkach’s mayor Heiko Bäuerlein.

What the participants get

Corona has recently thwarted the plans of many sports organizers. So it is even better that the eoRun can take place for the first time this year. As the only company run in the immediate vicinity, it offers the opportunity to finally participate in a sporting team event again. This promotes team spirit and cohesion.

In the €25.00 starting fee are furthermore included:

The route through Volkach

The run starts at 6:30 pm at the Mainschleifenhalle and goes in two laps flat through the city. With the historic old town and the market square, the course also offers something for the eye during the run. After 7.5 km, the runners cross the finish line at the Weinfestplatz.

Hygiene concept provides for the necessary security

Of course, there is a hygiene concept for the entire event that is adapted to the current legal situation. For example, the finish line will take place on the Weinfestplatz, where all participants will be able to stand at a sufficient distance from each other. Further measures are already being planned and will be adapted to the current Corona situation at the appropriate time.

Bei Firmenläufen wie diesem steht nicht ausschließlich die sportliche Leistung im Vordergrund, sondern vor allem das Gemeinschaftserlebnis und der Spaß an der Bewegung. So können am eoRun gute Läufer und auch Hobby-Läufer teilnehmen. Es geht um das olympische Motto „Dabei sein ist alles“ und um die gemeinschaftliche Leistung.
