At eology, there were four reasons to celebrate in the last quarter of 2020. The online marketing agency from Volkach was awarded the following prizes: Bavaria’s Best 50, German Agency Award, FOCUS Top Employer Medium-Sized Businesses, FOCUS Growth Champion. Customers and employees now receive independent confirmation: The work of the agency is outstanding.

Bavaria’s Best 50

Every year, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs awards the 50 fastest-growing medium-sized companies in Bavaria. The requirement is that the companies are owner-managed and have grown organically in terms of sales and employees between 2015 and 2019. eology was the only company to win the prize in Lower Franconia. A total of 8,000 companies from all counties and industries were invited to participate in the competition at the beginning of the year. Comparing the growth of the top 50 with all participants, the top 50 clearly came out on top: employee growth from 2015 to 2019 was 86%, while revenue growth was 105%. For the remaining participants, the figures were only 29% and 25%, respectively. Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, commented: “Bavarian SMEs stand for innovative spirit, entrepreneurial creativity and future-proof business models. This is where stability, progress and competitiveness are at home.” The effects of the corona pandemic put the economy to a tough test, he said. “The flexibility, resilience and substance of our small and medium-sized enterprises are making a very significant contribution to overcoming the crisis as quickly as possible.”

German Agency Award

For the second time in a row, eology won the German Agency Award in the B2C/SEO project category. The project submitted was for the client kinoundco.de, for which eology achieved the following successes:

• 1,850 new top 10 rankings – before the collaboration there were none!
• 120% more organic traffic than in the previous year 2019.
• Increase in visibility from 0.016 to 7.8 through a long-term and sophisticated SEO strategy.

The German Agency Award recognizes outstanding achievements by advertising, marketing and Internet agencies. The prize is awarded to those who realize particularly creative or successful projects. The jury consists of specialists from various advertising disciplines, agency heads and selected experts.

FOCUS Top Employer Medium-Sized Businesses

Together with the employer rating portal Kununu, FOCUS Business names the FOCUS Top Medium-Sized Employers every year. This year, eology made it into the ranking for the third time. The criteria taken into account are company size, employee ratings on Kununu, number of ratings and recommendation rate. eology achieved a Kununu score of 4.2 and a top recommendation rate of 100%. In the marketing, advertising and PR sector, the online marketing agency even made it to second place out of 214. Here, the many benefits that eology offers its employees pay off. These include free vegetarian/vegan lunches, a company pension plan with a 100% employer subsidy and JobRad leasing.

FOCUS Growth Champions

eology is among the top 500 companies in Germany that achieved high percentage revenue growth between 2016 and 2019. In the advertising, marketing and media sector, eology made it to 15th place, marking the agency’s second year on the list. One evaluation parameter is that the companies had a turnover of at least 100,000 euros in 2016 and 1.8 million euros in 2019.
