In addition to SEO consulting for Lexware, with the general aim of establishing Lexware as the most visible provider in organic searches for accounting and invoicing software, targeted reusable content was also to be focussed on. This should offer the best user experience and ensure a sustainable positive development of the brand. In addition, the specified visibility target value was 8, which was to be achieved by 31 March 2023.

This case shows wonderfully that it is not only important to continuously create new, high-quality content, but also to regularly review existing website content and keep it up to date by reacting quickly to possible changes in the Google SERPs, among other things. It also motivates me to see that our cross-departmental SEO, content and outreach strategy has not only enabled us to achieve the targets set by Lexware, but even exceed them. The SI and traffic figures continue to develop positively and speak for themselves.

Visibility index increased

The target of a visibility score of 8 was successfully exceeded by 31 March 2023. In mid-December 2023, the visibility index was even increased to > 18.

For new rankings, the focus was on the creation of SEO-optimised pages that are geared towards high-volume search focus keywords and provide user-oriented, value-added content suitable for the Lexware target group.

In order to increase the performance of existing content pages, SEO optimisation was carried out with regard to text and keywords. The aim was to boost the rankings of important keywords into the top 10.

Content strategy for TOP rankings

By carrying out keyword potential analyses based on content gaps, content, competitor and SERPs analyses as well as ranking checks, a content plan and the roadmap for text creation were defined. The aim was to achieve top rankings with defined keywords.

Creating new pages for strong keywords

A successive development of new pages (on and for relevant keywords with high search volume potential was pursued on the basis of GAP, SEO and content analyses.

Snippet optimisation to increase CTR

To increase the CTR, the title tags and meta description of the existing content were checked and revised as part of the content strategy.

Content hygiene And optimisations

With regular content optimisations and content hygiene tasks, which resulted from the monitoring and reporting set up, the existing content was examined with regard to SEO.
